Keeper notes
Slow livebearer, releasing one or two large young at a time, so it never overruns a tank. A large, slow-moving Sulawesi snail with an elongated shell and rabbit-like face, sold in yellow, orange, and chocolate forms. Prefers warm, hard, alkaline water and a mature tank with biofilm, algae, and supplemental vegetables. Generally plant-safe but may sample soft new growth if underfed. Copper sensitive — no copper meds. Breeds very slowly.
