Breeds in freshwater; the foundation species behind crystal and Taiwan bee lines. The wild-type bee shrimp from which crystal and Taiwan bee morphs were developed. Prefers soft, slightly acidic water, ideally RO remineralized over active substrate, with stable parameters. Feed biofilm plus shrimp foods. Copper sensitive — no copper meds.
