• Minimum 20 gallon tank • Maintain temperature 72–78°F and pH 8.1–8.3 • Requires strong, indirect water flow; avoid direct, turbulent currents that can damage tissue • Feed with phytoplankton or liquid invertebrate supplements 2–3 times weekly • Provide low to moderate lighting; many species tolerate dimmer conditions better than high light
