Appearance

A robust triggerfish with olive-gray to tan body coloration and distinctive white-tipped dorsal and anal fins. The head is large with a strong jaw, and the body tapers posteriorly; adults display a characteristic white spot or bar near the tail base.

Diet and feeding

Feed high-quality frozen meaty foods including krill, squid, shrimp, and small fish pieces. Offer occasional live or frozen crustaceans. Feed once daily or every other day depending on specimen size and appetite.
