Appearance

Yellow-green body with a distinctive black mask-like marking across the eyes and a black line extending from the gill cover. The body is deep and laterally compressed, with a small mouth and blue-tinged dorsal and anal fins.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet of meaty foods including mysis shrimp, krill, chopped squid, and quality marine flake. In a reef aquarium, the fish will supplement by hunting small invertebrates and crustaceans.
