Appearance

The Sixspot Grouper is a robust, elongated fish with a pale gray to cream body marked by six distinctive black spots arranged along the lateral line and head. It has a moderately large mouth and blunt snout typical of groupers, with dark eye markings and a somewhat stocky build.

Diet and feeding

Feed high-quality meaty foods including marine fish, shrimp, squid, and specialized grouper pellets. Offer live or frozen prey items 1–2 times daily to maintain appetite and health.
