Appearance
Synchiropus sycorax displays brilliant red to deep crimson coloration throughout its body and fins. It has a flattened, somewhat elongated body typical of dragonets, with elaborate pectoral and dorsal fins adorned in contrasting colors.
Diet and feeding
Feeds on small crustaceans and zooplankton in the wild. In captivity, requires frequent feedings of frozen mysis shrimp, copepods, and small live foods. Should be fed 2–3 times daily in small portions to ensure adequate nutrition.

Moderate - Requires some experience due to specific dietary water or tank requirements. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
