Appearance

Randall's Tilefish is a small, elongated fish with a predominantly blue to purple head and body, featuring yellow-orange spots and markings along the sides. It has a small mouth adapted for feeding on small crustaceans and displays a characteristic dig-and-burrow behavior.

Diet and feeding

Feed small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and high-quality small pellets. Offer 2-3 times daily in small portions. This species naturally feeds on small crustaceans in deep reef rubble zones.
