Appearance
A small dottyback with striking purple-red coloration on the body, head, and dorsal fin. A distinctive oblique line or stripe pattern marks the head and gill cover area. The body shape is elongate and moderately compressed, typical of the Pomatcentridae family.
Diet and feeding
Feed small frozen or live meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and small crustaceans. Will also accept high-quality small sinking pellets formulated for carnivorous fish.
