Appearance
The Marbled Dragonet is a small, elongated fish with intricate marbled patterning of red, orange, brown, and tan across its body. Its head is distinctly flattened dorsoventrally and it possesses elaborate fringed dorsal fins characteristic of the genus Synchiropus.
Diet and feeding
Feed small live foods, particularly copepods and amphipods. Dried copepods and high-quality frozen mysis shrimp can be offered, though live zooplankton is strongly preferred to ensure adequate nutrition and capture success for this slow-moving species.

Moderate - Requires some experience due to specific dietary water or tank requirements. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
