Appearance
The Indigo Hamlet is a small, deep blue to purple serranid with a compact body and slightly rounded fins. A thin yellow line often runs along the pectoral fin base, distinguishing it from other hamlet species.
Diet and feeding
Small fish, crustaceans, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and other meaty foods. May eat small fish and shrimp.
