Appearance

The Flame Hawkfish is a small, vibrantly colored fish with a bright red to orange-red body, accented with white or light-colored bands running vertically across its sides. Its distinctive features include prominent cirri (whisker-like filaments) above the eyes and an elongated body adapted for hovering near crevices.
