Appearance

A small hawkfish with a white to cream body covered with fine reddish-brown spots and bands, particularly prominent along the head and anterior body. The dorsal fin features elongated filaments characteristic of the Cirrhitidae family.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including finely chopped fresh or frozen seafood, small crustaceans, and quality carnivore pellets. Offer food 2-3 times daily in small portions appropriate to the fish's small mouth size.
