Appearance
Coris gaimard is a colorful wrasse with dramatic sexual dimorphism. Males display vibrant red-orange bodies with blue-green markings on the head and yellow caudal fins, while females are predominantly brown or reddish-brown with lighter spots. The body is elongated and laterally compressed, typical of labrid wrasses.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied diet of high-quality carnivorous foods including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, chopped seafood, and small crustaceans. Feed 2–3 times daily in smaller portions.
