Appearance

The Banana Wrasse exhibits bright yellow coloration on the body with blue-green markings on the head and fins, particularly along the gill covers and pectoral fins. Males develop more intense coloration and blue facial patterns than females, with an elongated, streamlined wrasse body shape.
