Appearance

The Blue-spotted Wrasse displays bright green coloration with characteristic blue spots and streaks along the head and body, transitioning to yellow-green posteriorly. It has a somewhat elongated body typical of wrasses with pronounced lips and a terminal mouth.

Diet and feeding

In captivity, feed a varied carnivorous diet including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and quality frozen marine preparations 1–2 times daily. They will also consume small crustaceans and benthic fauna naturally occurring in the aquarium.
