Appearance
A small wrasse displaying vibrant yellow-orange coloration on the head and upper body, with distinctive purple or violet markings on the rear body and tail. Males show more pronounced purple coloration and may display darker vertical bars or patches.
Diet and feeding
Feed small meaty foods including mysis shrimp, small copepods, and quality flake or pellet food. Offer 1–2 times daily in appropriate portions. They also pick at small invertebrates and algae in the aquarium.
