Appearance

A small, deep-bodied dottyback with vibrant yellow coloration and darker purple or brown markings along the dorsal fin and body. Males display more intense coloration than females, with a distinctly compressed body profile typical of the genus Pseudochromis.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including mysis shrimp, copepods, and small frozen preparations. Supplement with occasional flake or pellet foods formulated for carnivorous fish. Feed 2–3 times daily in smaller portions.
