Appearance
The Blue-Lined Dottyback is a small, elongated fish with a vibrant purple body covered in bright blue horizontal stripes running from head to tail. It has a slightly compressed body shape and a pointed snout characteristic of the Plesiopidae family.
Diet and feeding
Feed small meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, frozen copepods, and finely chopped marine flesh. Supplement with small pellets designed for carnivorous reef fish. Feed 2–3 times daily in small portions.
