Appearance

Ammer's Dottyback is a small, elongated fish with a deep purple-blue body and bright yellow or orange spots and stripes covering the head and body. The dorsal fin is distinctly banded in yellow and purple.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, and finely chopped marine flesh. May also accept small pellets. Feed multiple small portions to suit its natural hunting behavior.
