Appearance

Bright yellow body with distinctive red or orange coloring on the head and anterior region, and a dark blotch near the tail. Body is elongated and laterally compressed, typical of wrasses in the Bodianus genus.

Diet and feeding

Carnivorous; feed high-quality meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, finely chopped fish, and quality pellets. Will hunt small crustaceans and invertebrates in the aquarium.
