Appearance

Bright yellow coloration with a distinctive cube-like body shape characteristic of boxfish. The body is boxy and angular with a small mouth and eyes positioned high on the head.

Diet and feeding

Omnivorous, feeding on small crustaceans, copepods, amphipods, and algae. In captivity, provide a varied diet of meaty foods (mysis shrimp, brine shrimp) and vegetable matter (spirulina, nori). Feed small amounts multiple times daily to accommodate their natural grazing behavior.
