Appearance
Cube-shaped body with a yellow or olive-brown base color overlaid with a distinctive black reticulated (net-like) pattern. White or pale spots mark the gill covers and body joints, with a relatively small mouth and compressed dorsal and anal fins.
Diet and feeding
Feed small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and enriched brine shrimp 2–3 times daily. Offer finely chopped meaty preparations and some vegetable matter (nori, spirulina). Feed sparingly; boxfish are prone to overfeeding and water quality issues.

Moderate - Requires some experience due to specific dietary water or tank requirements. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
