Appearance

A small, slender fish with silvery-white body coloration and two distinctive dark horizontal stripes running the length of the body. The head is relatively large with a small upturned mouth and prominent eyes.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped fish, and quality carnivore pellets. This species has a small mouth and prefers small food items.
