Appearance
A small butterflyfish with a predominantly yellow body, black dorsal and anal fin margins, and a distinctive dark band through the eye. The body is compressed and disc-shaped, typical of the genus Chaetodon.
Difficulty and care for the Arabian Butterflyfish
The Arabian Butterflyfish is moderately difficult, requiring stable water conditions and a varied diet of small meaty foods and filamentous algae. Tank acclimation can be challenging, but once established it is hardy.
