Appearance
The Triangle Butterflyfish has a distinctive white to pale yellow body with prominent black triangular or chevron-shaped markings radiating from the eye and along the body. The dorsal and anal fins display yellow coloration with black banding. A characteristic black eye stripe extends through the eye, and the tail is truncated with yellow and black patterns.
Diet and feeding
In captivity, feed a varied diet of high-quality frozen and prepared foods including mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, and quality flake foods. Supplement with vegetable matter. Feed 2-3 times daily with small portions.
