Appearance

The Transparent Cardinalfish has a largely translucent to semi-transparent body with a silvery sheen, allowing internal organs to be visible. It features a distinctive large, dark eye and a small mouth typical of the cardinalfish family. Body shape is elongate and compressed, with reddish-orange coloration on the fins and along the lateral line.

Diet and feeding

Feed small frozen or live foods such as mysis shrimp, small crustaceans, and copepods. Offer food 1-2 times daily in small portions that the fish can consume readily.
