Appearance
Tonozuka's Fairy Wrasse is a small, elongated wrasse with striking coloration that varies by sex and mood. Males display vibrant red, orange, and yellow hues on the head and body, with blue and purple accents on the dorsal fin and lateral body. Females are more subdued, typically showing orange-red with white or pale yellow markings. The body is slender with a pointed snout typical of Cirrhilabrus species.
Diet and feeding
Feed small meaty foods including high-quality frozen mysis shrimp, copepods, and small preparations suitable for nano predatory fish. Offer 2–3 times daily in small portions, as these wrasses have high metabolisms and graze throughout the day in their natural deep-reef habitat.
