Appearance
A small, slender cardinalfish with a reddish or pale tan coloration on the body and distinctive thread-like pelvic fins that extend well beyond the body. The dorsal and anal fins are elongated, and the fish has a somewhat translucent appearance with minimal markings.
Diet and feeding
Feeds on small crustaceans and zooplankton in the wild. In captivity, offer frozen mysis shrimp, copepods, and small live prey like brine shrimp. Feed 2-3 times daily with small portions.
