Appearance

Pseudochromis matahari is a brilliantly colored small fish with a vibrant orange-yellow body and distinctive blue or purple markings on the head and dorsal fin. The body is elongated and slightly compressed, with the characteristic dottyback shape.

Diet and feeding

Feed small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and finely chopped preparations. High-quality carnivorous preparations designed for small reef fish work well. Feed multiple small portions daily to accommodate their high metabolism.
