Appearance

Smith's Blenny has a slender, elongated body with a yellowish-tan base coloration and darker brown banding or mottling along the sides. The fish features a blunt head and venomous fangs typical of the Meiacanthus genus, used for defense rather than hunting.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet of small meaty foods including mysis shrimp, small copepods, and finely chopped seafood. Supplement with vegetable matter such as spirulina-based preparations. Feed 1-2 times daily in small portions.
