Appearance
Slender blenny with an elongated body, tan-brown coloration, and a distinctive black stripe running along the lateral line. Small venomous fangs are present in the lower jaw; these are a defensive adaptation rather than a hunting tool.
Diet and feeding
Feed small meaty foods including finely chopped frozen shrimp, mysis shrimp, bloodworms, and small copepods. Offer food 2–3 times daily in small portions.
