Appearance
The Black Combtooth Blenny is a small, elongated fish with a dark body coloration ranging from charcoal to deep black. It features a distinctive comb-like dorsal fin that runs most of its body length and possesses a slightly flattened head with conspicuous eyes set forward on the face, typical of benthic blennies.
Diet and feeding
Feed small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp and copepods 1–2 times daily. Supplement occasionally with spirulina-based preparations and algae sheets to provide vegetable matter.
