Appearance
A sleek, elongated fish with a deep blue to dark gray body and pale silvery-white ventral surface. Naso hexacanthus is distinguished by its streamlined profile and a small frontal horn (less prominent than in other Naso species), with six spines on the tail base.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied diet including high-quality marine flakes, pellets, and frequent servings of nori seaweed, spirulina, and meaty items (mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp). This species grazes naturally on algae and zooplankton in the wild.
