Appearance

Small, elongated dottyback with a distinctive reticulated (net-like) pattern of dark lines over a purple, orange, or yellow base coloration. Body is compressed laterally with a pointed snout and continuous dorsal fin.

Diet and feeding

Feeds on small crustaceans, zooplankton, and small fish in the wild. In captivity, offer high-quality meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, small frozen fish, and quality marine flake or pellet foods designed for carnivorous reef fish.
