Appearance
The Reticulated Butterflyfish features a distinctive cream to pale yellow body with a prominent dark reticulated (net-like) pattern of lines covering most of the body. A bold black vertical bar runs through the eye, and the dorsal and anal fins display yellow coloration with darker banding. The pectoral fins are translucent to pale yellow.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied diet of small crustaceans (especially copepods and amphipods), small frozen foods (mysis shrimp, brine shrimp), and quality marine flake or pellet foods. Offer food 2–3 times daily in small portions.
