Appearance

A small, slender wrasse with a distinctive red or orange line running horizontally along the body from gill to tail. The body is primarily white, cream, or pale green with red striping. Juveniles show more vibrant red coloration; adults become more subdued and may display greenish tones.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped fish flesh. Supplement with quality carnivorous pellets. Feed 1-2 times daily in small portions.
