Appearance

Slender, elongated body with a pointed snout and large eyes adapted to low-light reef environments. Coloration is pale tan to whitish with blue-purple horizontal stripes along the body and blue markings on the head and dorsal fin.

Feeds on small zooplankton and copepods in the wild. In captivity, offer small frozen foods like copepods, mysis shrimp, and quality pellet foods twice daily. May require specialized plankton-based diets to thrive long-term.
