Appearance

A slender, elongated fish with vibrant blue coloration on the head and body, contrasting with yellow-orange on the dorsal and caudal fins. The body is streamlined for quick, darting movements.

Diet and feeding

Feed small live or frozen foods such as copepods, amphipods, mysis shrimp, and enriched brine shrimp. Blue Dartfish are micropredators and perform best when targeted fed or when the tank has robust populations of naturally occurring small crustaceans.
