Appearance

A small, elongated dottyback with striking coloration: bright magenta-red to orange-red body contrasting with yellow or orange fins. The head and anterior body are particularly vibrant, fading slightly toward the tail.

Diet and feeding

Feed frozen mysis shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, and small pellets suited for small carnivorous fish. Offer meaty foods 2–3 times daily in small portions. They prefer live food but will adapt to frozen options.
