Appearance

A small, vibrant dottyback with deep purple or magenta coloration on the body and head. The dorsal fin and anal fin often display yellow or orange-yellow edges, and the fish has a slightly compressed, elongated body shape typical of the Plesiopidae family.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, frozen copepods, and small crustaceans. Occasional live prey can enhance feeding response. Quality marine carnivore pellets are also accepted once acclimated.
