Appearance

A small, striking dottyback with a deep purple to magenta body and numerous white or silvery spots covering the head and body. The dorsal fin is distinctly yellow or orange, providing striking color contrast.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including copepods, amphipods, mysis shrimp, and finely minced fish or squid. Accepts quality frozen preparations. Offer varied diet to maintain color and health.
