Appearance

The Orange-Lined Cardinalfish is a small, stocky fish with a reddish-brown body marked by distinctive bright orange or reddish vertical stripes running along the sides. It has large eyes characteristic of nocturnal species, a moderately sized mouth, and a rounded tail fin.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods such as finely chopped frozen mysis shrimp, frozen copepods, and small prepared carnivore pellets. Offer live foods occasionally to encourage natural feeding behavior.
