Appearance

A small, slender wrasse with vibrant coloration that varies by sex and life stage. Males display predominantly purple-pink body coloring with orange-yellow markings on the head and dorsal fin, while females are duller orange or yellow. The body is elongated and streamlined, typical of fairy wrasses.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, frozen copepods, and small prepared carnivore pellets. Offer food 2–3 times daily in small quantities. A tank with good live rock and sand provides natural foraging opportunities for small crustaceans and amphipods.
