Appearance

Orange body with white vertical bands bordered in black; white pelvic and anal fins. A slightly larger, more slender form of Amphiprion ocellaris with less distinctive ocellus markings compared to other clownfish species.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet of high-quality flake foods, small pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, and finely chopped meaty foods 2–3 times daily in captivity. Clownfish also supplement by consuming zooxanthellae and mucus from host anemones in the wild.
