Appearance

Small elongated blenny with tan to brown body coloration, often with darker saddle markings or stripes. Characteristic fang-like teeth visible when mouth is open.

Diet and feeding

Feeds on small crustaceans, copepods, and small invertebrates in the wild. In captivity, offer frequent small meals of mysis shrimp, copepods, and quality frozen meaty foods.
