Appearance

Moore's Dottyback is a small, compact fish with a deep purple to violet body and distinctive yellow-orange vertical stripes or bars running along the head and anterior body. It has an elongated, somewhat compressed body profile typical of the dottyback family.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet of high-quality frozen meats such as mysis shrimp, chopped squid, and small pieces of fish. Offer food 1-2 times daily. Some individuals will accept high-quality pellets after acclimation.
