Appearance
The Midnight Angelfish is a small, deep-bodied pygmy angelfish with predominantly black to dark charcoal coloration. A distinctive pale blue or white stripe runs from the mouth through the eye, and similar markings may appear on the dorsal and anal fins. The body shape is characteristic of Centropyge species—compressed laterally with a rounded profile.
Diet and feeding
In captivity, feed a varied diet of high-quality marine flakes, small pellets, and frozen preparations including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped marine vegetation. Feed 1-2 times daily in appropriate portions.
