Appearance
A striking dwarf angelfish with a deep red or crimson body and bright yellow-orange vertical stripes and markings on the head and gill covers. The dorsal and anal fins display similar yellow-orange coloration with red edges. The body is compressed laterally with a small, rounded profile typical of the Centropyge genus.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied omnivorous diet of high-quality angelfish pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, spirulina flakes, and occasional nori. Offer small portions 2–3 times daily to support their active metabolism and bright coloration.
Difficulty and care for the Debelius Angelfish
Debelius Angelfish are striking but challenging. They require pristine water conditions, stable parameters, frequent small feedings, and careful tankmate selection. They are prone to shipping stress and parasites, and can be aggressive toward conspecifics and similarly sized fish.

Origin and habitat
Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea and East Africa eastward to the Philippines and Indonesia, typically found at depths of 20–60 meters on steep outer reef slopes.
