Appearance
The Masked Bannerfish is a yellow and white butterflyfish with a distinctive black mask across the eyes and a black band on the dorsal fin. The body is predominantly yellow-white with a prominent elongated dorsal filament that extends well above the body, and the pectoral fins are transparent to translucent.
Diet and feeding
In captivity, offer a varied diet of high-quality flaked foods, small crustaceans (mysis shrimp, copepods), and occasional vegetable matter. Feed small portions 2–3 times daily to match their natural feeding behavior on small invertebrates and zooplankton.
